Where We Started

Zippi started in 2011 with just one cart. Since then we have grown to include many different sizes, styles, and aspects of carts.

Founder and Managing Director, David Westrick, moved to Thailand in 2010 with his wife Tammy who took a job at International School Bangkok. David worked for Avis Rent a Car and DMW International as a manager and consultant in the car rental business for 20 years and immediately recognized the need for cart rentals in Nichada. David and a rental car buddy based in Australia, Geoff Johnson, put a business plan together and launched Golf Carts & More Thailand Co. Ltd. now commonly known as Zippi in August 2011. David’s expertise and knowledge in the rental business allowed Zippi to grow and flourish over the following years.

Where We Are

Since then, Zippi has established itself as a company that is a leader in quality and customer service. We have grown steadily and consistently not just by adding more carts, but by expanding our inventory to include scooters, bicycles, ATVs, tuk tuks, sa-lings (a kind of scooter party sidecar) and even a fleet of cars. We were able to expand our operations to hotels, restaurants, schools, wedding vendors, and neighborhoods on a long term basis.

We take pride in what we have built and how far we have come since that first cart. However, Zippi is far from finished growing. With utilization at extremely high levels and bookings at nearly 100% we know that capital will greatly elevate Zippi to the next level.

How to Get There

Our goal for the next 5 years is to be in a position to open other Zippi locations throughout Thailand, and then to move into markets in other countries within the 5 years following.

With our success under the leadership of David Westrick and the constant demand that we are seeing for more carts, we feel that Zippi is in a unique position to be able to take advantage of what we feel is a perfect market for us to scale up drastically and capital willing, quickly. With continuous high demand for our services, we feel there is unlimited growth potential at our finger tips. The main thing holding us back is our lack of capitol.

  • At this phase of our growth, we would use it to secure more carts.

  • We guarantee 6% annually. This is a one year loan to Zippi. At the end of one year, we will send you back the loan amount plus the 6% interest. We are happy to entertain other ideas.

  • Very confident! Zippi is an assets heavy business and using our carts as collateral is what gives us the confidence to offer this investment opportunity in the first place.
